Moses’ first encounter with Pharoah brought harsher treatment and heavier burdens for Israel. It seemed as if, not only was God nowhere around, but Moses made it go from bad to worse. Our hope and confidence is never to be in the outcome of the situation, but in the calling God has placed on our lives. We must trust He is in control regardless of what we see.
