Reaching the Deaf

Nick is the president of Deaf Pathway Global (DPG).  They seek to translate the Scriptures into the heart languages of the 300+ sign languages of the world, knowing that without a Bible, Deaf cannot be adequately equipped to lead, plant churches and serve His kingdom. Lisa oversees the mission work among the Deaf of all of Africa.  She and her teams seek to evangelize, disciple and plant Deaf indigenous churches throughout Africa.

PRAYER NEEDS

• Pray for more workers to be sent to tell the Deaf about him.  Many are awaiting the Hope of His name, but few workers have gone to tell them.
• Pray for our Deaf churches and leaders as they grow weary and are tempted to be less consistent.  Pray they will stand on his strength!
• Pray for partners to come along DeafPathway who share their vision.
• Pray for continued thriving in our family.

Most of the 70 million deaf people around the world have never seen Jesus’ name signed in their language. Often ignored and oppressed, the deaf are some of the least evangelized people on earth.
